State Parks and Camping in MichiganLocal HistoryIn 1908 the M., M. & S. Railroad came through here and the station was named Dorsey. When Selma Harsila was appointed its first postmaster on August 12, 1922, she sent in her maiden name of Sundell (Swedish) and it was accepted. John Harsila ran the general store.
