The Japanese Cultural Center and Tea House offers insights into Japanese culture and the ritual and ceremony of the tea service. Saginaw's ties with Tokushima, its sister city in Japan, lead to the establishment of the Friendship Garden; many of the trees, bridges and stones used in the garden come from Japan. Following the garden tour, tea and sweets are served.
