Local HistoryNamed from its location on Waiska Bay. James Norris & Company established a lumber business here in 1875. After fire destroyed the Hall & Munson lumber mills in 1904, the village began to vanish. Its post office was closed on November 30, 1909. Now an Indian reservation.
