Local HistoryA station on the Michigan Central Railroad, in Sebewaing Township. The village was founded by Frederick Bach in 1889 and named for him. Storekeeper Samuel Sussman became its first postmaster on November 5, 1912. Informational excerpts from Michigan Place Names, by Walter Romig, L.H.D.
