This privately owned museum is dedicated to the preservation of early fire fighting paraphernalia and local history. Located in a wooded area 3 miles west of Marshall, the museum is housed in a recreated fire station designed after a San Francisco firehouse of Romanesque Revival architecture. Displays include early motorized and hand drawn apparatus, a working Gamewell fire alarm telegraph system, and numerous other pieces of fire fighting memorabilia from the past. Open by appointment.
