Malcom X Homesite Marker
Historic Marker at Vincent Court
Malcolm X, eloquent spokesman for civil rights and for the
oppressed everywhere, lived in Lansing in the 1930s on a site that is now a
registered historical landmark. Malcolm X converted to the nation of Islam,
and became one of the first African-American leaders to openly articulate the
extent of racial discontent in our society.
