Michael MulcahyIshpeming/Escanaba, Michigan
I am looking
for some information on the mining around the 1870s or 80s? My great
grandfather was killed in a mining accident in Ishpeming after coming from
Ireland with his family. His name was Michael Mulcahy and he is buried in
Escanaba in the Catholic cemetery there. My great grandmother then opened a
boarding house for the railroad workers in Escanaba in order to care for her
family. I would
appreciate any help you might be able to give me. Thank you in advance for
anything you might be able to do for me.
