Lulu Shappel (Avery), Avery Family
Grand Ledge, Michigan
Was recently visiting in Charlotte,
Eaton county and found my grandfather, Milton A. Shappell married Lulu Avery in
1897 at Grand Ledge, MI. Would like to know if there was any family
(Avery) of Lulu there in Grand Ledge. Lulu's father's name was John, there
were several brothers and sisters of Lulu. Also, there may have been
children born to Milton and Lulu between 1897 and 1905..they moved to Cheboygan
county, Mi. My father Frederick J. Shappell was born in Cheboygan county
June 28, 1906. The family then moved to Lamar, Colorado and Lulu d. Jan
1909 and another child d. Mar. 1908.
I want to know if the Avery family lived in Grand Ledge and # and names of
children and if Milton and Lulu had children while living at Grand Ledge.
We live in Florida. Our trips north are always too short. Would
appreciate any research that anyone can offer. Many thanks.
