Located in Sanilac County

 

Local History

Named for pioneer settler Amadore Fuller.  Surveyor Jefferson W. Galbraith became its first postmaster on June 4, 1873, with Mrs. Adeline Galbraith as postmaster, the office operating until January 1, 1934.  This village in Worth Township, with a station on the Pere Marquette Railroad, was also called Galbraith's Corners.
