Local HistoryAlthough much of the land here in Casco Township was taken up by 1836, actual settlement did not begin until 1840 ; a station on the Michigan Central Railroad, it was named by the English contractor who constructed this branch of the line; Albert Blank became it's first postmaster on Dec. 7,1875.
